Kali: Your Outdoor Health and Wellness Coach

Kali’s Story

Even before becoming an outdoor health and wellness coach, Kali has spent her life dedicated to her healing practice, mentoring and discovering what nature holds for us. Growing up off grid in the wilderness of Montana, she learned from a young age what it meant to be one with the forest. At 12 years old, her passion for teaching took root as she led Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, eventually expanding her lessons to include outdoor and wilderness skills. These early experiences laid a foundation for her unique approach to healing through the outdoors.

Kali’s love for nature only deepened as she served as a wilderness guide, spending years leading middle school to college students on extended backcountry expeditions in Montana, Canada and Alaska. Whether teaching backpacking, high ropes courses, canoeing, trail maintenance, or outdoor survival skills, she nurtured the confidence and curiosity of countless adventurers, instilling a love for the outdoors and its health benefits.

After moving to Colorado, Kali managed a ski lodge in Winter Park for five years. Here she shared her expertise on safety, skill, and the simple pleasure of being in nature with guests from around the globe. This period marked a transition of her outdoor passions with her commitment to wellness.

Becoming Certified in Neuromuscular Massage Therapy and Personal Training in 2010, Kali has over 15 years experience devoted to working with individuals overcoming deep grief, trauma, and chronic pain, with a deep understanding of how physical and emotional challenges can affect our lives. Now, as an intuitive sound healer, she harnesses the transformative power of sound and vibration, creating sessions that calm the nervous system bringing relaxation, inner peace, and soulful reconnection.

Teaching is at the heart of Kali’s work. As a long-time instructor at the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy, she has led multiple courses and shared her multifaceted expertise with aspiring professionals. Her role as an educator has also extended with personal training certification courses. Whether mentoring or guiding others to a sustaining career, Kali finds great honor in empowering individuals to feel confident in attaining their goals.

Today, Kali continues to blend her diverse talents into a holistic practice that honors both physical wellness and spiritual growth. With her roots firmly planted in the wilderness and her heart dedicated to coaching and healing, she invites others to embrace a journey that is as much about finding joy as it is about overcoming pain. Hiking, biking, traveling, writing, and photography remain a constant source of inspiration for her.
